Meet The Team
IUPUI Event and Conference Services currently employs five full-time personnel and four part-time employees. Additionally, in support of IUPUI’s strategic initiative to promote academic success, this Office of Auxiliary Services unit partners with the School of Physical Education and Tourism Management to offer student internship and part-time employment opportunities to develop and create rich learning experiences and practical industry experience for students entering the field.

Campus & City Engagement
IUPUI Event & Conference Services is committed to engagement and service to the campus and to the community.
Student & Academic Engagement
In collaboration with Tourism, Conventions, and Event Management (TCEM), student internships and part-time employment have been developed to create rich learning experiences and practical industry experience for students seeking a career in the field. To serve the entire student body of TCEM wishing an internship experience, a one-day hands-on class has been created fall 2014 taught by Director of IUPUI Event & Conference Services, Nancy Wright, with visiting professors from TCEM. Partnerships with the nationally renowned faculty at IUPUI will be fostered to utilize their expertise to strengthen the quality and excellence of the collaborative internships and classes.
Community Engagement
IUPUI Event & Conference Services will engage with the Office of External Affairs, which acts as a liaison between IUPUI and its constituencies in business, industry, government, alumni, and the general public, to promote IUPUI as a destination for events focusing on education, innovation, and discoveries that transform our world.
