Application ReviewAn application will be reviewed by leaders on campus, you might be contacted with additional questions if needed. You will receive approval/ denial notification for your event by our team.
Upon Special Event application submission, IUPUI Event and Conference Services will route your application through campus leadership. You will receive an email confirming your Special Event application submission and a separate approval email once your application has been routed through campus leadership. If you do not receive an approval email within 4 weeks from your date of submission please feel free to contact Event and Conference Services at 274-2702 to follow up on the status of your event. For successful planning, we prefer to receive the Special Event application within (4) weeks of your event.
- If your event is marketed to children under 18 years, fill out a PIC Form.
- If your event involves heavy physical activity, fill out a waiver form.
- If your event involves a collection of funds, fill out an RPAQ form.
Reminder: All IUPUI departmental activities and events that require a signature on a contract or agreement with a third party must engage the IU Purchasing Department for appropriate signatures. Signature authority at Indiana University is limited to those who have been delegated such authority through established policies. (FIN-TRE-V1-100 and FIN-PUR-1.0).
Please Note: You must complete and submit the entire Special Event Application in one sitting. There is no save feature.
